Dewaniya opens with marigold's bitter-green brightness and olibanum's resinous church-air, immediately grounded by rose and saffron's spiced warmth. The heart swells into honeyed tobacco and dark coffee, while jasmine and Cambodian oud weave a creamy, animalic thread beneath cacao's cocoa-dust softness and black tea's tannic grip. Hay and benzoin anchor the drydown, joined by leather's aged suede and castoreum's animalic musk, while sandalwood, myrrh, and cedar layer into a smoldering base—civet and ambergris adding an intimate, skin-worn muskiness that lingers until only warm leather, amber, and dry wood remain.
