Acceptance
Using ScentSignal means you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the platform.
Your account
You're responsible for keeping your credentials safe. You must be 16 or older to create an account.
Your content
You retain ownership of what you contribute — reviews, fragrances, posts, and diary entries — but grant ScentSignal a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display and distribute it on the platform. Don't post content you don't have rights to.
Acceptable use
Don't post abusive, illegal, hateful, harassing, or spammy content. Don't impersonate others. Don't attempt to break, exploit, or overload the platform.
Intellectual property
The ScentSignal name, logo, design, and code are owned by us. Fragrance brand names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
Disclaimer
ScentSignal is provided “as is.” We do our best to keep it running and accurate, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service or perfect data. Fragrance reviews and recommendations reflect personal opinion, not professional advice.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, ScentSignal isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.
Account termination
We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You can delete your account at any time from settings.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Swedish law. Any disputes will be resolved in Swedish courts.
Changes
We may update these terms. Significant changes will be announced.
