Description
The story behind this fragrance
Plastique by X-Ray is a Oriental Floral fragrance for women and men. Plastique was launched in 2012. The nose behind this fragrance is Irina Burlakova. Top notes are Eucalyptus, Lavender, Bergamot and Rosemary; middle notes are Mimosa, Tuberose, elemi and Orris; base notes are Amber, Benzoin, Vanilla, Patchouli, Sandalwood and Styrax. In autumn 2012 the line is expended with a new collection named Lacquer Collection that offers two new fragrances - Plastique and Lacquered Rose. Plastique is a “curious, futuristic and utterly innovative” fragrance that represents an ode to Los Angeles. Described as familiar yet unknown, the scent smells both naturally and plastic, due to the reproduction of vinyl accord. The accord is created by mixing Italian bergamot, French lavender oil and eucalyptus in the top, together with rosemary oil. The heart is made of rich and exotic floral notes with tuberose absolute, French mimosa, orris butter and elemi. The base includes patchouli, sandalwood, olibanum, styrax, benzoin from Laos, Madagascar vanilla beans and amber. Plastique comes in a pink bottle with a white lacquer stopper, while Lacquered Rose comes in red with a black lacquer stopper. They are both available as 50 ml Eau de Parfum.
