Y opens with a sharp, green bite—galbanum and aldehydes cut through peach and mirabelle plum's stone fruit sweetness, honeysuckle and gardenia lending an almost soapy floral brightness. The heart blooms into creamy white florals: tuberose and jasmine wrap around hyacinth's peppery edge, while Bulgarian rose and ylang-ylang deepen into something honeyed and animalic. As Y settles, oakmoss and vetiver ground the composition in earthy green shadow, styrax and benzoin warming into amber while civet adds skin-like sensuality beneath sandalwood's pale woody breath.
