The story behind this fragrance
Yellow Diamond by Versace is a Floral fragrance for women. Yellow Diamond was launched in 2011. Top notes are Amalfi Lemon, Pear, Bergamot and Neroli; middle notes are Mimosa, Freesia, Water Lily and African Orange Flower; base notes are Musk, Guaiac Wood and Amber. Versace started its glamorous fragrance line inspired by crystals in 2004 with Crystal Noir perfume, and then launched the lighter and fruitier Bright Crystal in 2006. In 2011, a new fragrance of the collection emerges, "a crystal that turns into a diamond," named Yellow Diamond. Yellow Diamond is crafted as a pure, transparent and airy floral fragrance, sparkling and intense as the yellow color, while being luxurious and feminine like a diamond. Its composition opens with luminous freshness of lemon, bergamot, neroli and pear sorbet. The heart features airy orange blossom, freesia, mimosa and water lily. The base is made of amber, precious musk and guaiac wood. The bottle is shaped like the previous editions of the collection, colored in yellow, while its box is decorated with baroque ornaments. The face of the campaign is an Australian model Abbey Lee Kershaw, shot by Mario Testino in Paris. Versace Yellow Diamond is available as 50 and 90 ml Eau de Toilette, with deodorant and body lotion.
