Curaro
Description
The story behind this fragrance
Curaro opens with iris and jasmine caught in a cool, powdery bloom, grounded immediately by patchouli's dark earth and magnolia's creamy white flesh. The heart unfolds into spiced warmth—cinnamon threading through vetiver's dry grass, tonka's almond sweetness, and two ouds (Indian and Cambodian) layering a resinous, almost leathery depth. Rose and sandalwood soften the edges. As it settles, caramel and vanilla absolute melt into the base, while orris root, cedar, and benzoin build a sweet-smoky amber that feels like inhaling the scent of old wood and dried honey. The patchouli returns, anchoring everything in the skin.
