L'Heure D'Or opens with a sharp spice-and-anise burn, Calabrian bergamot cutting through herbal absinthe and honeysuckle's humid sweetness. The heart softens into creamy jasmine and rose, orange blossom and tobacco leaf adding warmth and dry tobacco smoke. As it settles, benzoin and styrax become honeyed and resinous, amber glowing beneath saffron's dry thread, sandalwood and cedar emerging clean against the dark musk and castoreum that ground the drydown—a faint animalic whisper lingering with resinous warmth.
