Lost Cause opens with a tart green snap—bergamot and rhubarb sharpening into herbaceous clarity, bright fruit threading through. The heart softens into dewy florals, jasmine and lily-of-the-valley breathing cool and clean against freesia's pale sweetness. Vanilla orchid and ambergris settle beneath, anchoring the whole composition in a warm, almost creamy base that keeps the florals luminous rather than heavy. There's a suspended quality here—between crisp and soft, green and floral, never quite landing on either shore.
