Sous Bois opens with a rush of almond and violet dusted by pink pepper, while citrus brightness—bergamot, neroli, lemon—cuts through floral warmth: orange blossom, ylang-ylang, and rose layered with mimosa and iris. The heart deepens into forest floor, oakmoss and guaiac wood anchoring a sticky, resinous labdanum. Vetiver and cedar emerge as the florals soften, musk and civet adding animalic depth, while benzoin's vanilla-tinged sweetness melts into coumarin's hay-like warmth until only earthy wood and faint animal musk linger on skin.
