Cicatrices opens with a bright licorice-bergamot snap—sweet-tart and slightly herbaceous—before leather and iris emerge, adding a powdery, skin-like warmth that deepens into something ecclesiastical through myrrh's resinous whisper. The base settles into earthy patchouli and labdanum's amber-honeyed grip, where vanilla threads a soft, almost papery sweetness through the drydown. There's a scar-tissue quality here—scarred, weathered, beautiful in its imperfection.
