Frustration

Frustration opens with a sharp, almost angry blast of warm spice—cumin and cinnamon cut through rum's boozy sweetness, creating an off-kilter brightness. Vanilla absolute and labdanum settle into the heart, soft and resinous, but the tension never fully releases; instead, guaiacol's smoky, medicinal edge emerges, anchoring everything in something both bitter and burnt. The drydown becomes almost tender—bourbon vetiver and the faint ghost of roasted chestnut drawing warmth from skin, while smoke and earth linger where sweetness once sat.
