Auster

Auster opens with bright licorice snap and citrus bite, then settles into spiced warmth—clove and geranium petals creating a peppery, slightly green heart. Beneath, patchouli and cedar ground the composition in dry earth and wood, while ambergris surfaces as a soft, animalic anchor that softens the spice and keeps the whole thing from landing too heavy. Anise-led and restless at first, it becomes contemplative as it ages on skin.
