Fruto Oscuro

Fruto Oscuro opens with artemisia's green snap and pink pepper's bright bite, darkened immediately by black cherry and the resinous warmth of elemi—black sapote adding a shadowed, almost leather-like depth. Mamey's creamy tropical sweetness emerges in the heart alongside quince's tart apple-like character, while davana lends a honeyed, tobacco-tinged earthiness. Black pepper and clove sharpen the sweetness into something spiced and austere. The base settles into blackberry's dark jammy weight, guaiac wood's smoky resinousness, and patchouli's cool, slightly fermented undertone, all anchored by frankincense's dry, temple-like smoke that lingers long into the drydown.
