Favonius opens with a bright clash of litchi and pink pepper, bergamot cutting through the tropical fruit with sharp citrus bite, while incense smoke curls underneath. The heart settles into a green, slightly herbaceous terrain—artemisia and clary sage drawing out the earthiness of cypriol oil, while rose and geranium add a dusty floral restraint. As it develops, sandalwood and agarwood emerge from the base, their resinous warmth deepening the incense that now feels less bright, more contemplative. Patchouli grounds the composition while cedar leans dry and woody, the layers folding together until only warm sandalwood, smoke, and a whisper of oud linger on skin.
