Imitation Man

Imitation Man opens with a sharp, peppery citrus—citron and nutmeg create an almost medicinal brightness that catches the breath. The spice settles into a dense floral core where Turkish rose, violet, and iris root down with powdery, slightly green restraint. Beneath, leather and castoreum emerge with an animalic warmth, anchored by vetiver's dry earth and patchouli's dark soil. A whisper of myrrh adds resinous depth, smoke-like and contemplative. The whole unfolds with a quiet intensity, spice ceding to leather and stone, until only mineral vetiver and soft myrrh shadows remain.
