The House of Charles of the Ritz
Charles of the Ritz built its catalog across the late seventies and early eighties on a foundation of warmth and sensuality. Oriental structures dominate—creamy, amber-tinged compositions—anchored by floral opulence and brightened by fresh elements. The six fragrances span a character that swings between plush, resinous density and crisp, citrus-touched openings, never straying far from a creamy core. This was a house comfortable in richness, its prevailing mood one of powdered amber and soft florals, occasionally interrupted by green, luminous air.
