Absinthe

Bright citrus and fresh-cut grass open sharp and green, immediately herbaceous. Wormwood arrives with distinctive bitter bite—the characteristic anise of absinthe settles in, licorice-tinged and austere. As the composition deepens, hay and vetiver ground the herbal intensity, while galbanum adds a slightly resinous, almost metallic green edge. Labdanum brings warmth and slight stickiness to the base, tempering the austerity. Absinthe by YanFroloff dries to vetiver and hay dusted with the ghost of anise, earthy and faintly sweet.
