Frankincense and Orange

Orange opens bright and crisp, then deepens into ylang-ylang's honeyed, almost creamy floral warmth. Below that richness, vetiver's dry, root-like earthiness anchors everything. Olibanum (frankincense) adds a resinous, slightly smoky incense quality—sacred and grounding—while musk and labdanum round out the base with a soft, amber-tinged sweetness. Cedar and sandalwood emerge gradually, cooling the composition into something woody and dry, until only warm sandalwood and the faint resinous hum of frankincense linger on skin.
