Star anise and black pepper spark immediately, sharp and almost licorice-tinged, before lemon cuts through with brightness. The heart softens into something herbal and slightly green—wormwood and artemisia bring a whisper of bitterness, while violet leaves add powdery restraint and geranium a peppery floral dryness.
