In The Belly of The Beast opens with a briny pomelo shock laced with leather and saffron's metallic heat, mulberry adding dark sweetness before sea water pulls everything salt-sharp and raw. The heart settles into a woolly, resinous hum—costus and copal wrapping around cannabis smoke and pepperwood's peppery bite, immortelle's honeyed warmth cutting through. It descends into driftwood and lichen, palo santo's incense mingling with oud's animalic depth, moss and sequoia creating a forest floor stillness anchored by ambergris' subtle brine. Visceral, textured, unapologetically earthy.
