South Bay

South Bay by The Different Company is a Woody Aromatic fragrance for women and men. South Bay was launched in 2013. The nose behind this fragrance is Emilie Coppermann. Top notes are Grapefruit, Petitgrain and Tamarind; middle notes are Freesia, Rose Hip and Woody Notes; base notes are Vetiver, Sandalwood and White Suede. Just before Summer 2013 the collection of L'Esprit by the house of The Different Company has been expanded by three fragrances—South Bay, Kashan Rose and White Zagora. All three compositions are signed by perfumer Emilie Coppermann, who enriched them with refreshing summeriness and a dashy stamp. Fragrances of the L'Esprit collection are available in flacons of 90 ml EDT with tags bearing the names of the fragrance and the olfactive pyramid of each announced composition. South Bay is intensively luminous and offers a woody structure above which lays fresh citrusy shades. The composition opens with a luminous blend of grapefruit, mandarin leaves and tamarind. Woody accords of grapefruit tree with freesia flowers and eglantine ( Rosa rubiginosa ) become stronger in the central layer of the composition, enhanced with creamy sandalwood, vetiver and suede creating the base of the perfume.
