Dead or Alive

Rye grain and tobacco leaf crack open with a sharp whiskey bite and the acrid snap of gunpowder—a raw, dusty entrance. The heart settles into dry hay and weathered guaiac wood, with tumbleweed and oak adding a parched, woody spine. Amber and Texas cedar warm the base while leather and sweat bring an animalic, lived-in density; castoreum adds a faint, musky depth, earthy and intimate. What lingers is a worn leather saddle warmed by afternoon sun, amber dust, and the ghost of smoke on skin.
