Hermitage opens with a bracing flash of green and bergamot sharpened by aldehydes, crisp as winter air cutting through museum halls. Vetiver and oregano emerge beneath, earthy and slightly herbaceous, while leather settles in with iris and jasmine threading through—a classical restraint, austere and refined. The base deepens into oakmoss and cedar, anchored by musk and patchouli, grounding the whole composition in something dry, woody, and quietly noble.
