Ytzma opens with warm spice—nutmeg and black pepper crackling against bright citrus, dried fruit adding treacle depth beneath the bergamot and mandarin. The heart softens into floral territory: orange blossom and peach blossom drift over oud's resinous backbone, while rose and magnolia deepen the sweetness. Base notes anchor everything in earth and wood—vetiver and cypress create a dry mineral bed, sandalwood smooths into vanilla absolute, tobacco smoke curls through, and oud returns with castoreum and ambergris adding animalic richness. The whole composition settles into oakmoss and patchouli, grounded by gurjan balsam's bittersweet warmth.
