Matau opens with green galbanum and bright bergamot piercing through delicate lotus petals, then settles into a warm amber heart where opoponax and champaca bloom alongside creamy vanilla and earthy Brazilian rosewood. Incense and sage smoke through the middle notes while oakmoss and vetiver anchor the base, grounding into leather, dry cedar, and guaiac wood. The drydown slowly dries to manuka honey and patchouli warmed by pine needles and Virginia cedar lingering against skin.
