Oud Taifi

Oud Taifi opens with the dry, almost peppery bite of cypriol oil—earthy and cool—before a balsamic warmth from gurjan softens into the heart. Sandalwood and rose arrive next, creamy and faintly powdered, wrapping around a deep, resinous oud that anchors the composition. The base unfolds slowly: animalic musk and patchouli create a skin-like warmth, while ambergris adds a faint salty sweetness that keeps everything from turning too precious. By the drydown, the oud has mellowed to leather-soft earth, the patchouli darkening to soil and smoke, musk clinging close and intimate against skin.
