Whilst visiting the gardens of Fiesole, Florence, one spring, Prudence encountered extensive beds of Irises, which are the inspiration for this perfume, an elegant creation for the woman of taste and discretion. Bergamote is the solitary head note, leading into a light combination of violets, Jasmin and Rose du Mai, which precedes the complex base of Iris, Poudre, and Sandalwood, which gives the fragrance a sensuous depth of character.
