Etude 1.1: La Vue opens with a sharp, almost architectural clarity—cypress and juniper berries cut through warm cardamom and nutmeg, while aldehydes and solar notes create a gleaming, almost metallic shimmer. The heart unfolds into something floral and slightly earthy: iris and rose ground themselves against carrot seed's subtle sweetness and those same metallic undertones, lending an almost mineral quality. Into the base, violet and heliotrope bloom softly, cushioned by sandalwood and white musk, while costus and paper add a whisper of texture and subtle woody restraint. The dry-down settles into a pale, powdery warmth—cardamom's ghost lingers beneath cedar and ambrette's gentle almond-skin comfort.
