Alto Mare opens with a peppery snap and ginger warmth that prickles the skin, before settling into an herbal clarity where basil and sage whisper beneath dry cedar. The heart softens into something almost meditative—woody and green. As it develops, amber and palisander rosewood emerge from below, grounding the composition in a resinous, slightly sweet depth. Patchouli and suede arrive last, wrapping everything in a soft, earthy musk that feels lived-in rather than pristine.
