Black Gold opens with a bright citrus snap—bergamot and mandarin cutting through juniper's dry green spine, lemon and clary sage adding herbal bite. The heart softens into layered florals: carnation's spiced sweetness wraps around jasmine and rose, while water lily and orchid cool the warmth. As it settles, amber and vanilla emerge, grounded by vetiver's earthy pull and oud's resinous depth, with musk and ambrette lending a creamy, almost powdery sensuality. Pink pepper flickers through, sandalwood and cedar anchor the base, and patchouli, moss, and labdanum weave a dark, honeyed undercurrent that lingers between sweetness and smoke.
