Grain de Sable opens with bright basil and peach brushed by citrus and melon, its calone top note carrying the mineral-salt-skin sensation of sun-warmed sand. As it settles, a lush garden unfolds—carnation and hyacinth cut through creamy ylang-ylang while jasmine and rose bloom softly alongside papaya's fleshy sweetness. The iris anchors this floral choir with powder and green earth. Below, oakmoss darkens the drydown, vetiver adding dry grass and smoke while sandalwood wraps everything in warm wood. Musk and patchouli ground the skin, earthy and faintly spiced, the florals fading to woody amber and subtle vetiver dust.
