Melancholia
Description
The story behind this fragrance
Violet leaf and green apple crack open with bright bergamot, then black currant deepens the opening into something tart and alive. Melancholia unfolds as narcissus and lily-of-the-valley emerge, their white florals softened by dates—a honeyed, almost candied warmth threading through. Vetiver roots the base, joined by clearwood's pale smoothness and juniper's mineral bite, while incense adds a thin, ashy gravity. The dates linger longest, their sweetness slowly overtaken by dry vetiver and the faint mineral smoke of juniper and incense fading on skin.
