Citrus Noir

Citrus Noir opens with a bright, almost medicinal burst of citron and bergamot, sharpened by calamus and a whisper of pepper that catches the breath. The calamansi adds a green tartness before cypress and jasmine emerge, introducing a cooler, more austere character—something between a forest clearing and a skin-scent florality. Amber and vetiver anchor the dry-down into warm, resinous earth, while incense smoke curls through it all, grounding the initial brightness into something contemplative and nocturnal. Light meets shadow here, citrus folding into shadow rather than singing against it.
