Big Bottled Noir arrives with the green, almost soapy bite of fig tree and dry cedar—a brief, woody opening that feels architectural. The leather heart settles in quickly, earthy and tactile, slightly animalic. From there, frankincense and olibanum emerge, smoky and resinous, grounding the composition in something ancient and ceremonial. Iris and orris root add powdery, almost mineral depth, while a whisper of mandarin lifts the base with citrus warmth, preventing the whole from becoming too austere.
