La Piscine by Miguel Matos is a Woody Aquatic fragrance for women and men. La Piscine was launched in 2019. The nose behind this fragrance is Miguel Matos. Top notes are Water Notes and Aldehydes; middle notes are Geosmin, Coconut, Sea water, Violet Leaf, Tuberose and Jasmine; base notes are Moss, Costus, Cashmeran and Ambroxan. "There is nothing more sexy than the smell of chlorine over warm skin on a hot summer day, mixed with the smells of suntan lotion and that soft beach towel you love to sleep on. La Piscine was inspired on the movie Swimming Pool, by the French director François Ozon. But it comes also from my memories of the swimming pool I used to go when I was a teenager. I was not a happy teen, but I loved those days at the pool with my friends. This scent has the smell of happiness and what I feel as a sensual experience. The smell of my skin after those days under the sun. La Piscine has chlorine, but also the petrichor smell of the grass that was watered, the smell of flowers and suntan lotion.
