Black cassis splits open with a sharp sulphur strike—acrid, almost chemical—tempered by saffron's dusty gold warmth. Iris emerges tender and powdery as the sulphur fades, anchored by cypriol's earthy, woody tobacco-root depth and the grey smoke of incense climbing underneath. The base settles into black amber's resinous grip, guaiac wood's smoky leather, and Java vetiver's mineral grip, while cashmeran adds a soft, skin-like warmth that lingers until only vetiver smoke and dark woody resin remain.
