Description
The story behind this fragrance
L'eau de Kasaneka by Menard is a Oriental Floral fragrance for women. L'eau de Kasaneka was launched in 2004. The nose behind this fragrance is Shuji Suzuki. Top notes are Hamanasu or Japanese Rose, Cardamom, Nutmeg, Ginger, Orange, Basil and Bergamot; middle notes are Heliotrope, Ylang-Ylang, Jasmine and Carnation; base notes are Ambrette (Musk Mallow), Vanilla, Sandalwood, Musk, Cedar and Vetiver. L'eau de Kasaneka was inspired by the work of Japanese artist Shozo Shimada. He designed the bottle and Shuji Suzuki composed the fragrance. L'eau de Kasaneka is a warm oriental floral composition, complicated and exciting. Spiced accords of ginger, cardamom, nutmeg and basil with a light citrus breeze (bergamot and orange) frame the central floral notes of carnation, jasmine, heliotrope and Japanese rose (Hamamatsu). The profusion of rose is emphasized by musk accords of ambrette seed. Smooth and warm woody notes close the composition: cedar, sandal, vetiver and vanilla.
