Fire by Mary Greenwell opens with a bright, almost brittle spark—nutmeg and pepper crackle against cool bergamot and grapefruit zest, a sensory jolt that feels almost electric. The heart unfolds into something simultaneously creamy and spiced: tuberose blooms with honeyed warmth while cardamom and saffron add a dusty, slightly smoky character, anchored by incense that deepens the air around skin.
