Iris

Iris opens with a sharp pop of pink pepper cutting through bright berry—raspberry and red currant singing against bitter orange's tangy edge, almost sorbetic in its coolness. The heart softens into violet and jasmine, green tea's subtle astringency threading through floral petals while green apple adds a crisp, almost herbal snap. Peony rounds the florals into something lush but never heavy. Beneath, oakmoss and cedar ground the composition, amber and musk wrapping everything in a warm, slightly woody skin that lingers long after the brightness fades.
