Violet by Marc Jacobs is a Chypre Floral fragrance for women. Violet was launched in 2015. Top notes are Kumquat, Green Apple and Calabrian bergamot; middle notes are Violet, White Lily, Magnolia and Jasmine; base notes are Vanilla, Musk and Patchouli. Marc Jacobs presents Violet, a new fragrance that belongs to the same line as Dot from 2012 and Honey from 2013. The fragrance comes out in May 2015 as a limited edition, exclusive to travel retail. It is charming, spontaneous and illuminating. Marc Jacobs Violet is announced as a delectable and luminous modern chypre perfume, reminiscent of an opalescent bubble. Warm and sensual shades are illuminated by the charming and contemporary composition. It starts fresh and pungent with Calabria bergamot, green apple and kumquat, leading to the floral heart of white lily, jasmine, magnolia and violet. The base consists of precious woods such as patchouli, together with skin musk and vanilla bean. The bottle design follows the previous editions of the collection, only in differing color - this time in a soft pearly shade of purple. The fragrance is available in the format of 50 ml Eau de Parfum.
