Ares
Description
The story behind this fragrance
Ares opens with a sharp pink pepper bite against dry Virginia cedar, as African orange flower and petitgrain brighten the edges—fir needles cutting cool through the warmth. The heart settles into a measured lavender and jasmine, rose threading softly underneath. Styrax and amber emerge in the base, thick and resinous, while ambrette adds a subtle musk-like warmth that pulls labdanum's honeyed depth forward. Benzoin rounds the dry-down into creamy amber and vanille, the florals now only a ghost memory against smooth, amber-tinged vanilla skin.
