Sortilege (2014)

Sortilege opens with a bright, slightly soapy aldehydic shimmer that lifts ylang-ylang and lily-of-the-valley into an almost powdery lilac haze. As it settles, narcissus and iris emerge—green, slightly indolic—while mimosa adds a honeyed warmth that softens into creamy jasmine and rose. The base gradually anchors everything: amber and labdanum grow resinous and amber-dark, vetiver adds a subtle earthiness, and sandalwood wraps it all in a creamy, milky finish, with musk grounding the final hours into skin.
