Hard Leather opens with the sharp, almost acrid burn of worked leather and the sweetness of dark rum—an initial clash of hide and fermented warmth. Iris and honeyed florals emerge beneath, softening the leather's edge into something less industrial, almost powdered. The base unfolds across styrax and olibanum, anchoring everything in a resinous, faintly church-like depth, while sandalwood and oud weave through with creamy, woody richness. Cedar threads in cool and dry, holding back the vanilla's caramel pull until the very end, when only warm amber-tinged wood and a whisper of creamed sandalwood remain on skin.
