Nerosa opens with the sharp bite of nutmeg and cloves, warmed by guaiac wood's resinous depth and labdanum's honeyed grip—saffron threads through like smoke. The spice settles into a creamy floral heart where ylang-ylang's indolic richness meets rose and geranium's green-soft edges. The base unfolds slowly: leather and oud catch the light while amber and sandalwood create a warm, almost skin-like foundation. Vetiver's dry minerality plays against castoreum's animalic whisper, and birch leaf adds a cool, papery note that keeps the composition from becoming heavy.
