Roses et Reines by L'Occitane en Provence is a Floral fragrance for women. Roses et Reines was launched in 2014. The nose behind this fragrance is Karine Dubreuil-Sereni. Top notes are Bergamot and Cassia; middle notes are Bulgarian Rose, Grasse Rose, Turkish Rose, Moroccan Rose, Blackberry and Raspberry; base notes are Musk, Heliotrope and White Cedar Extract. L`Occitane en Provence will launch in spring 2014 the new fragrance inspired by roses, named Roses et Reines. The traditional rose line includes a dozen editions some of which provide very intense and rich shades, while others are appropriate for the spring period of the year, because they are airier and dashier. The latest fragrance Roses & Reines succeeds the last year's editions Rose Aurore Eau Fraiche and announces blooming of several sorts of roses used in the composition. The most prominent among them are rose of Grasse, Bulgarian rose, Turkish rose and Moroccan rose, and the composition itself is very unique for its new, innovative method of extraction (traditional method enfleurage improved by L'Occitane team). This method provides natural freshness and aquatic notes 'captured' by precious absorption of Provencal rose extract. The fragrance is fresh and velvety, inspired by the story about four daughters of Count Forcalquier, all of whom adored roses and for whom it was said that they became queens with help of true love and their flowers. The composition opens with a luminous blend of bergamot and currant leaves, refreshing intense heart is composed of four sorts of roses (rose of Grasse, Bulgarian rose, Turkish rose and Moroccan rose). This precious rose extract is enriched with a passionate sweet zest of raspberry and blackberry, resting on a base enriched with white cedar, heliotrope and musk. The fragrance is signed by perfumer Karine Dubreuil.
