The new fragrance arrives on the market in October 2009 as the first fragrance from the Voyage en Mediterranee collection. The new collection by the house of L'Occitane takes us for a fragrant journey on the Mediterranean, while discovering aromas and temptation, as well as fragrant treasures of this region. The first fragrance on our sailing is Mimosa de L'Esterel, "winter sun" from Esterel mountain on the Azure Coast which blooms in the middle of winter with tiny yellow blossoms and spreads its intoxicating, sweet, powdery scent. Top notes incorporate fresh and gentle aromas of violet leaves which come closer to a sweet and powdery heart of joyful mimosa. A base offers gourmand almond nuances which enrich accentuated floral essences of mimosa. Shape of its glass flacon reminds of those from the L'Occitane Notre Flore collection, while its stopper is golden and decorated with a compass. Symbol of journeys is a rose of the winds, which decorates the flacon and outer carton, and just as with old mariners, it has magical powers which protect them while they are sailing and experience and knowledge. Mimosa de L`Esterel arrives as 75ml eau de parfum.
