Acqua by Jeanne en Provence is a Aromatic Aquatic fragrance for men. Acqua was launched in 2015. The nose behind this fragrance is Remi Barbier. Top notes are Watery Notes and Rose; middle notes are Lavender, Pine Tree, Cypress and Clary Sage; base notes are White Musk, Moss and Sandalwood. Jeanne en Provence informs us that they will present fragrance for men Acqua which will be available exclusively on brand’s website and will be launched just before Father’s Day. The new eau de toilette by Jeanne en Provence arrive in characteristic flacon form in blue color, inspired by the Mediterranean and sea air. "Acqua is the new eau de toilette for men by the house of Jeanne en Provence. This aquatic fragrance is an olfactive reflection of the Mediterranean. Respect to the gentle waves of sea water caused by wind mistral in Provence is paid with composition of Acqua fragrance, prominent accords of sea water, aromatic shades of pine, cypress and lavender, whose scents can be smelled on the whole Mediterranean coast." Composition of men’s fragrance Acqua opens with aquatic notes and rose essence announcing pine, cypress, clary sage and lavender in the heart. The base of the composition introduces sensual harmony of moss, spiced with sandalwood and white musk. Perfumer Remi Barbier created the fragrance Acqua. He was inspired by unique scent of pines typical of Italy and Southern France, which are featured in drawings on the packaging. He chose pine note to be one of the key ingredients of the composition. Name and theme of the perfume instantly reminded him of his visit to Porquerolles during summer. "Strong scent of pines, sea and aromatic herbs lingers in my memories and I subsequently chose them to be the first notes of the fragrance Acqua" – stated Remi Barbier. Marianne Comte, designer and painter at Arthes group envisaged design and graphic illustrations for the new men’s fragrance Acqua. "Inspiration for this drawing comes from a peace of heaven at the heart of the Lerins Island, where s small boat floated on calm and clear water. Next to umbrella-shaped pines, unique and very aromatic herbs grow right next to the sea. A small fishermen’s boat sails on the surface, while you can hear crickets’ song in pine shade. I wanted to describe a sweet image typical of the Mediterranean coast by this drawing" - states Marianne Comte. Fragrance Acqua will be available in glass flacons colored in blue, available as 100ml Eau de Toilette.
