Issey Miyake presents limited edition L`Eau d`Issey Ettore Sottsass Edition, with design inspired by drawings by Ettore Sottsass from 1997. This edition has been available in only 2000 pieces since October 2009. Issey Miyake asked the Italian designer to make a sketch and create perfume flacon, but there were no technical possibilities to put the solution into practice. After Sottsass's death in 2007, in his honour and in memory of his wonderful ideas and design, limited flacons were made by hand-blown glass. Volume of each flacon is 100 ml eau de parfum, and price of these limited beauties is 300 EUR or 436 dollars. (wwd) L'Eau d'Issey is an aquatic floral fragrance from 1992, which encompasses fresh and feminine aromas of lotus, freesia, melon, cyclamen... Its development is strengthened by floral aromas in a heart (peony, lily of the valley and carnation), along with warm notes of musk and amber decorated with tuberose and osmanthus flowers. Its creator is Jacques Cavallier.
