Description
The story behind this fragrance
Sweet William by Ineke is a Floral Woody Musk fragrance for women and men. Sweet William was launched in 2012. The nose behind this fragrance is Ineke Ruhland. Top notes are Peach, Cloves and Cinnamon; middle notes are Sandalwood, Carnation and Cedar; base notes are Patchouli and Bourbon Vanilla. New Addition to Ineke’s Floral Curiosities Fragrance Collection for Anthropologie. Sweet William (Dianthus barbatus) is a clove-scented, fringed flower that is bi- colored in white/pink/red tones. It recently received some justified accolades when Kate Middleton included it in her bridal bouquet, presumably for both the lovely scent and the name. Ineke has created a Sweet William soliflore fragrance that is ensconced by rich wood notes. The fragrance opens with a juicy peach note. The Sweet William floralcy is further warmed with cinnamon, clove and cumin essential oils. The dominant wood notes are a blend of cedarwood, sandalwood and patchouli, softened with Bourbon vanilla. A mutual passion for scent, botanicals and art brought Anthropologie and Ineke together to create the Floral Curiosities limited edition line of fragrances in 2011. Other fragrances in the line include Angel’s Trumpet, Poet’s Jasmine and Scarlet Larkspur, each inspired by scented flowers grown in Ineke’s garden. The collection is available exclusively at Anthropologie stores starting in October 2012.
