Description
The story behind this fragrance
Amazone (2017 re-launch) by Hermès is a Floral Green fragrance for women. Amazone (2017 re-launch) was launched in 2017. The nose behind this fragrance is Maurice Maurin. Top notes are Cassis and Black Currant Blossom; middle notes are Galbanum, Narcissus and Red Berries; base note is Vetiver. “A spirited and cheerful fragrance, highlighted with flowers, red fruits and woods.” — Jean-Claude Ellena. Symbolic of a free, modern femininity, Amazone takes its inspiration from the mythical horsewomen who, according to legend, ruled over the shores of the Black Sea. A novel composed by Maurice Maurin in 1974 and orchestrated around blackcurrant buds, the fragrance is a green floral harmony in which daffodils, narcissi, galbanum, red fruits and vetiver take turns to shine. Hermes Amazone Eau de Toilette is available in 100ml EDT flacon.
